          In this type of connection, data is transmitted in digital format at a speed of 64 kbps. At CSBL end, there is a Cisco 2610 router provided with a PRI module which is capable of providing up to 30 ISDN connections. This router is connected to the Multex server. 

          The client end requires a Cisco 801 router, ISDN connection and a hub may be required if more than one connection is necessary. Costs incurred at the client end:

                    Cisco 801 router                                 : Rs. 35,000/-

                    ISDN connection                                : Rs. 11,200/-

                    For more than one connection Hub)     : Rs. 2000/-

                    Recurring charges per month              : Dial up charges

Currently, CSBL has provided ISDN connection to 12 clients covering areas � Muvattupuzha, Aluva, Kothamangalam, Perumbavoor, Kochi, Thiruvalla, Thevara, Ponkunnam and Erattupetta.
