The Exchange
is professionally managed,
under the overall direction of the Board of
Directors. The
Board consists of eminent
professionals from fields such as judiciary, administration
and management, who are known as Public Interest Directors. The
Public Interest Directors constitute one fourth of the total strength
of the Board .The representation of brokers of the Exchange is
limited to one fourth of the total strength of the Board .The remaining
are representatives of shareholders without trading rights, called the
Shareholder Directors.
